Abstract
Creating inclusive sports and activities for the well-being of all children, including those with disabilities, is a crucial and rewarding task for educators. This study utilised mixed methods to explore the impact of an inclusive physical education intervention called Baskin. Thirty-five primary school students and two students with intellectual disabilities participated in the study. Before and after the intervention, participants were engaged in physical tasks and completed questionnaires regarding self-efficacy and perceptual integration related to the project. Qualitative findings indicated an overall improvement in physical self-efficacy and a positive sense of inclusion and collaboration among children with disabilities. Quantitative results revealed heightened psychosocial skills, encompassing increased physical self-efficacy, improved inclusion, enhanced collaboration, and an overall advancement in motor skills. The study highlights the importance of inclusive physical education strategies and emphasises the pivotal role of teachers in nurturing the proper development of inclusive classes.
