dc.description.abstractIn this paper, the Proper Orthogonal Decomposition approach is exploited to obtain a Reduced Order Model for the plasma magnetic equilibrium problem, described by the Grad-Shafranov equation. The proposed method is applied over a dataset consisting of a few hundred ITER plasma equilibria, and is applied to the problem of plasma equilibrium reconstruction.it
