This contribution, of a theoretical nature, intends to reflect on the fundamental importance of promoting emotional education in school contexts about of the adoption of distance learning, due to the current dramatic pandemic emergency. The enhancement of emotional capital at school represents a demanding and challenging educational goal that is based on the awareness that competence and emotional intelligence generate metabletic processes, enhance existential capabilities, ensuring the participation and inclusion of each and everyone. In rethinking and redesigning the increasingly digitalized didactics, it is necessary to take into utmost consideration the centrality of emotionality in learning processes and the related strengthening of the “emotional quotient” in view of a way of doing school that opens to the labyrinths of emotional-affective languages by creating and proposing educational project itineraries aimed at well-being and cooperation.it
