Abstract:
Nanotechnology is a promising interdisciplinary field of research and its application into agriculture is getting attention due to the potential benefits that inorganic nanomaterials can garantee regarding the plant pathogens management. Conventional plant protection strategies are often inefficient, and the application of synthetic pesticides often poses several risks for humans and enviroment. In this chapter, inorganic nanomaterials applications are described, that would provide green and efficient alternatives for the management of plant diseases.
