In the set of occurrences related to nutrition that can be found in the poetry of Occitan troubadours, the author analyzes those that help define the characteristics of "bo manjar", as a topical element that serves to represent a model of pleasant and comfortable life. In particular, we focus on what can be considered the main food of the medieval diet: meat.
