Centro Biblioteca Agraria e Scienze dell'Università della Tuscia: come ti catturo l'utente: iniziative di information literacy, e non solo

Abstract

L'articolo descrive le attività realizzate presso il Centro Biblioteca Agraria e Scienze dell’Università della Tuscia per far conoscere i servizi offerti. Spesso infatti gli studenti approdano alle biblioteche solo al momento della tesi e nei loro studi si affidano più ai motori di ricerca che alle competenze dei bibliotecari. Corsi di istruzione, questionari, pagine facebook, video su YouTube, web sono solo alcuni dei modi utilizzati per far conoscere agli utenti le risorse a loro disposizione e accrescere la loro competenza informativa.

This paper describes the activities realized in the Library Center of Agriculture and Sciences of the Tuscia University to convey the offered services. The students often apply to the university libraries only in the thesis moment; and for their studies and researches they believe more in web-site than in the librarian competence. Education courses, questionnaires, facebook, youtube's video, web are only a few ways to support students and, so, to increase their information literacy.
