Abstract: 
Evidences are provided that driving force sustainability indicators can be standardized from genetic information on: (a) Triticum aestivum (bread wheat) response to powdery mildew disease caused by Blumeria (syn. Erysiphe) graminis f. sp. tritici , and (b)T. turgidum var. durum (durum wheat) field response to brown rust disease caused by Puccinia triticina.
