Abstract: 
La teoria del restauro formulata da Cesare Brandi e sviluppata da Giovani Urbani come conservazione programmata viene esaminata in relazione al rapido degrado dell'arte contemporanea e al dibattito internazionale in corso che tende viceversa a elaborare specifici principi teorici per la conservazione dell'arte conteporanea. Preservation conception by Cesare Brandi and Giovanni Urbani is exained in realtion to fast deterioration of contemporary art, while the current international debate is gathered to identification of specific theoretical rules on conservation of contemporary art.
