Abstract
During the period from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century a tradition of dialect poetry was born in Terni. Local culture was animated by the singer and melody author Furio Miselli (Terni 1868 – Ferentillo 1949). The figure of the poet, already studied by native critics, is analyzed linguistically. Every phenomenon, reconstructed from its origins, is compared with Italian results and other dialect forms.
