Abstract
Written for the secondary school, this book gives a shoot upon Ginosa, Italy, the ancient Greek and Roman town between Apulia and Basilicata, during the XVIII and XIX century, made exploring the families’ census in the Town Parish records, linking them with the history of this rural community, rebuilt through the documents and the popular traditions on the town, and restoring its city map, with its streets and its quarters whose memory was lost this day.
