Abstract
The present work is devoted to the already examined attitude of Cardinal Maurilio Fossati, Archbishop of Turin, expressed on the occasion of a particular case, with respect to the requests for conversion to Catholicism by a large number of Jews, the regularization of marriages by Catholics married to Jews and the baptism of their children in connection with the racist laws of the Fascist regime in 1938; the instructions given in this regard by the Holy Office. New considerations are made on this occasion and related unpublished documentation is published.
