Abstract
L’esigenza di costruire in Italia un’esperienza di scuola che chiuda definitivamente i conti con l’eredità del Sessantotto si scontra con forti resistenze. C’è bisogno di una potente correzione di rotta, che deve essere percorsa con urgenza se si vuole rinnovare profondamente la società italiana. In questi ultimi anni i media hanno provocato guasti notevoli dal punto di vista educativo, celebrando il ’68 e dandone un’immagine romantica e idealizzata. L’articolo analizza l’eredità del ’68 e gli effetti negativi sulla scuola italiana, con particolare riguardo per la violenza e per la lotta contro il principio di autorità.
The need to build a school experience in Italy that definitively closes the legacy of '68 collides with strong resistance. There is a need for a powerful course correction, which must be undertaken ur-gently if Italian society is to be profoundly renewed. In recent years the media have caused significant damage from an educational point of view, celebrating 1968 and giving it a romantic and idealized image. The article analyzes the legacy of ‘68 and the negative effects on the Italian school, with particular regard to violence and the struggle against the principle of authority
