Abstract
cielo sereno, nuvoloso e parzialmente nuvoloso.
1 Brevetto n. VT 2015A000001
This paper reports the first results obtained by a prototype of photovoltaic greenhouse
with variable shading produced by the University of Tuscia - Dip. DAFNE (1).
Greenhouse has an asymmetric cross section and allows the rotation of the photovoltaic
modules around the longitudinal axis, in order to select the degree of shading inside the
structure according the type of crop grown, the latitude of the site and the time of year.
The goal of this research was to study the production of energy and the microclimate
inside the structure with different percentages of shading, at which correspond different
inclination angles of photovoltaic panels in clear, cloudy and partly cloudy sky. In
evaluating of the greenhouse’s energy behavior was prepared the energy balance in
clear sky conditions. The results show that even with high inclination of the
photovoltaic panels it is possible to generate electrical energy through the presence of
highly reflective aluminum mirrors (98%) that allow for the recovery of solar radiation
is otherwise lost by reflection. Moreover, the results obtained from the energy balance
show the possibility to use this structure also as a passive protection system against
from energetic and thermal excess during the hottest periods. With this solution, unlike
any other found in the literature, it is possible to balance the production of electricity by
photovoltaic panels and agricultural production according the type of crop grown, the
latitude, the season in which you work. 1 Brevetto n. VT 2015A000001
