Abstract
The morphological variability of the aedeagus in Adarrus exornatus, a leafhopper living on the herbaceous vegetation and particularly on Brachypodium, is investigated. Specimens from Southern France, Corsica and different areas of Italy were studied. Probably the origin of this variability is due to genetic causes and not to the action of parasitoids or geographic or environmental factors. A. exornatus is recorded for the first time for Veneto and Sicily.
