Abstract
The research work carried out can be summarized in three parts: 1) energy audit; 2) thermalenergetic
analysis by static and dynamic modeling of the production process and/or part of it. At the
same time, an in-depth study of the production process and the materials involved to understand the
criticalities of the same; 3) intervention proposals which can also be used to optimize the production
cycle.
After the energy audit we realized that the most critical phase was the decolorization department
and here was focused the thermo-energetic analysis.
The study was done on the bleaching tank with Comsol Multiphiscs, first analyzing the stationary
two-dimensional case and then the transitional one.
Utilizing a dynamic water filtering system during the process, it significantly improves hair
washing by consistently reducing water consumption and therefore also energy.
Finally, all the chemical study on the bleaching process. The test kit on tiny hair samples allows you
to determine in advance which samples have been contaminated and what is not.
The use of a protector that neutralizes the excess free radical formed in the oxidation reaction with
H2O2 intervenes while preserving the quality of the finished product and thus stabilizes the process
and reduces waste.
