Abstract
The heating energy production, can be achieved by taking multiple technical and technology solutions. In order to promote energy efficiency and environmental sustainability can be used woody biomass fuel. For the biomass energetic systems, with the present study were highlighted the environmental, the social and the economic impact. In this study the comparison was done between different systems and methods of analysis. We analyzed two case studies: 1. An installation capable of delivering a heating power output of 650 kW, for a rural farm with a rural hotel and swimming pool; 2. An installation capable of delivering a heating power output of 61 kW for a rural house and services. To evaluate the energy and environmental effects of proposed energy chain in the present study was chosen the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology. The two cases subject to detailed analysis in the course of research were assessed using the LCA methodology by the GEMIS software, to compare the environmental impacts of the woody biomass fuel in comparison at the use of GPL fuel. The results show the benefits of using a renewable energy source in terms of air emissions and sustainability which the chain of self consumption.
