Abstract
This article explores the distance existing between the present time and the age of ‘Novecento’. Are we still part of that age? And how has the ‘Novecento’ been represented by the legal-history scholarship? In order to address such questions, this article examines the interpretive patterns elaborated by the Italian scholarship, the problems that they raise and their implications.
