THE REVIEW OF AUSTRIAN ECONOMICS
Abstract
This article serves as a formal memorial dedicated to Professor Lorenzo Infantino, an eminent scholar of the social sciences whose intellectual endeavors were pivotal in disseminating the liberal tradition of methodological individualism within the Italian academic landscape. Professor Infantino’s work transcended simple pedagogy; he acted as a bridge between the Austrian School of Economics and Mediterranean social theory. By championing the works of figures such as F.A. Hayek and Ludwig von Mises, he provided a rigorous analytical framework for understanding human action as the fundamental unit of social phenomena. This tribute seeks to outline his profound contributions to the defense of the open society and his unwavering commitment to the epistemological foundations of liberty.
