Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyse the development of the so-called strategic use of public procurement. Particular attention will be paid to ensuring sustainable development. The aim is to assess the current direction in which the discipline of contracting is developing, in the light of the principle of results set out in the new Public Procurement Code.
