Abstract
Teaching practices innovation is considered one of the main factors in improving quality of teaching both in schools and universities. It takes on real value if translated into effective learning outcomes, hence it needs to be supported at an institutional level and founded on research as compared to problems and new challenges of learning. Starting from the affirmation of student centrality, the essay questions the importance of professional skills and especially the pedagogical-didactic ones in the university system. This system considers teaching as a private teacher’s issue, mostly carried out in solitude in his classroom. Since some pedagogical
issues are still too marginal, the essay wonders about the importance that education represents for each teacher, which represents a duty. At the same time it is a right closely linked to the general commitment according to which University has taken on towards society, i.e. to guarantee a quality education service. Nowadays such an education cannot ignore the conscious use of new technologies and it is essential to enter the international value.
