Abstract
Work safety, and food safety are two issues that in had a greater interest by the public opinion recent years; The PhD thesis "Chemical risk assessment in wine farms: from the worker to the consumer" aims to analyze these two aspects, observing the residues of pesticides used against diseases (according to the Community regulations and national laws).
Another aim of the research consists in the chemical risk assessment for workers (Legislative Decree no. 81/2008).
The study involved seven wine farms of Umbria and Lazio that implement a conventional control system and a biological control system in the vineyard.
