This volume presents the contents developed for university students specialising in foreign languages who need to achieve a high level of competence. The contents are grouped into five thematic areas: grammar and syntax, vocabulary and context of use, communicative functions, spelling and phonetics, cultural notions. The authors have followed the guidelines indicated by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, while retaining a certain degree of autonomy as each language has its own peculiarities, which require a certain margin of variation.
