Abstract
The aim of this work is to provide a contribution to the dissemination and knowledge of sacred art
thanks the use of low-cost digital techniques. This work is addressed to the collections of sacred
artefacts, which often constitute a highly heterogeneous heritage, both for the various constituent
materials and for the art-historical and chronological aspects. In the case of the Diocesan Museum of
the Colle del Duomo the idea has been to test the creation of a virtual exhibition room for displaying
artworks that are not available to the visitors because under restoration or diagnostic investigations.
This room, to be diffused through the social of the Museum, will propose a virtual visit in a completely
digital immersive space.
