This book continues Bruno’s theoretical construction of the infinite universe by
concentrating on the question of the homogeneity of the physical world. This
chapter provides an account of the book focussing on two issues : the entanglement
between the infinity of the universe and its uniformity, and Bruno’s reconsideration
of some of the questions that he had dealt with in previous works, e.g.,
the appearance of comets and their cosmological importance
