Abstract
The Author discusses the following two publications:
1. RUDOLF. BLUM, Bibliografia. Indagine diacronica sul termine e sul concetto, nota introduttiva di Attilio Mauro Caproni, Milano, Edizioni Sylvestre Bon-nard, [2007], 258 p. Tit. or.: Bibliographia. Eine wort- und begriffsgeschichtliche Un-tersuchung, Frankfurt a. M., Buchhändler Vereinigung, 1969. Trad. di Maria Letizia Fabbrini. € 30,00. ISBN 978-88-89609-26-2. Innocenti remebers the work of Rudolf Blum as private librarian of the Landau-Finaly Collection (Villa La Pietra), in the peculiar cultural context of Florence in the Thirties of Novecento (1936-1943). It is quoted also the five auctions of the Landau Collection (1948). The personal bibliography of Blum is created, following a paper of Walther Treiser. The Italian translation, argues Innocenti, is not a good one.
2. CRISTINA CAVALLARO, Fra biblioteca e archivio. Catalogazione, conserva-zione e valorizzazione di fondi privati, presentazione di Caterina Del Vivo, saggio introduttivo di Marielisa Rossi, Milano, Edizioni Sylvestre Bonnard,2007, lii, 241 p., ill. € 25,00. ISBN 978-88-89609-34-7. The Author describes the per-sonal bibliography of Caterina Del Vivo, Marielisa Rossi, Cristina Cavallaro; the first two scholars present the book, the third one looks at the collections in the Biblioteca comunale Forteguerriana, Pistoia; Biblioteca comunale cen-trale, Florence (now Biblioteca delle Oblate); Archivio Bonsanti of the Ga-binetto Vieusseux, Florence. The purpose of Cavallaro is to draw an hy-pothesis of model in the way, following which a private library becomes a section of a larger and public library. A great appraisal is made of Cavallaro's work.
