Abstract
The old anthropocentric point of view of 'conservation', together with the myth of a sustainable development, has not given satisfactory results at the international level. Today's Political Geography is remarkably interrelated with the issues of Nature Protection and the Ecosystems Preservation, Environmental Ethics, and an Environmental Politics dedicated to the preservation of the natural system and not to human interests.
In this main context, important topics in the international theoretical debate are the rising of a Green Criminology - addressed to investigate the crimes against Nature and the Ecosystems, the ecocides, or the destruction of the natural environment by human action- , and the international movement of Ecological Justice.
