| Abstract: | Il Principe ermafrodito è un romanzo metaforico di Ferrante Pallavicino, scrittore condannato alla pena capitale a causa delle sue idee naturalistico-libertine. Pubblicata nel 1640, l'opera offre degli spunti di riflessione sulla natura della politica. Il linguaggio usato dall'autore è caratterizzato da un ampio uso di metafore e artifici retorici, tipica esprssione del gusto barocco.
Il Principe ermafrodito is a metaphorical novel by Ferrante Pallavicino, writer sentenced to death because of its natural-libertine ideas. Published in 1640, the work offers insights into the nature of politics. The language used by the author is characterized by an extensive use of methaphors and rhetorical devices, typical expression of the baroque style. |
