Abstract: This work deals with the study of the weathering processes due to the use of adhesive tape for the restoration of paper and for temporary exhibitions. Oxidation and depolymerization effects of industrial and handmade paper and parchment were investigated on samples in relation to the temperature, the relative humidity and the radiation exposure conditions.
