Abstract: The mechanisms of formation of sister chromatid exchanges (SCEs) and chromosome aberrations following inhibition of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase by 3-aminobenzamide were studied in Chinese hamster ovary cell lines deficient in different repair pathways.
