Viene ricostruito il profilo biografico del restauratore bergamasco Luigi Pigazzini, formatosi nelgi anni 1930 nella bottega di Mauro Pellicioli e poi divenuto restauratore capo dell’Istituto Centrale del restauro diretto da Cesare Brandi dal 1948 al 1960.
Biography of italian restorer Luigi Pigazzini is traced from training in Mauro Pellicioli’s workshop during 1930 until appointment as chief restorer in Centrale Institute of Restoration in Rome from 1948 to 1960, under direction of Cesare Brandi.
