Specific attention is focused on the milueu og their production and reception inside or around Italian courts; the similarities and the relationships between artifacts originating from different Romance areas; the characteristics of their transmission and the physical description of the most important manuscripts, form richly illuminated ones, dedicated to important commissioners, ro plainer copies for pracltical ues.
