Il progetto Corine Land Cover, si occupa di fornire i dati quantitativi di input per valutare in sede decisionale le strategie per gestire al meglio le risorse comunitarie. Questo lavoro ha avuto come obbiettivo l'analisi del dinamismo degli usi/coperture del suolo nel ventennio 1980-2000. Partendo da una cartografia ad hoc, elaborata sugli standard dimensionali e nomenclaturali CLC, sulla base delle immagini satellitari acquisite intorno agli anni '80, sono state condotte una serie di analisi di tipo quantitativo e di tipo strutturale. Per l'analisi quantitativa delle transizioni delle classi di uso/copertura del suolo, e le relative proximate causes si è proceduto nell'applicazione di una serie di metodologie già testate a livello europeo (Land Ecosystem Account e Land Cover Flows), mentre si è applicato un innovativo processo morphologico alle immagini per l'analisi delle classi strutturali; Questa analisi è stata propedeutica per lo studio dei processi di frammentazione della classe strutturale core areas, importante in quanto considerata di maggiore rilevanza per la conservazione della biodiversità forestale sia vegetale sia animale.; The knowledge of the resources and the variations of these plays a fundamental role in the planning of a sustainable development. The project Corine Land Cover, manages to offer the quantitative data of input in order to evaluate in decisive setting the strategies leading to the best employment of the European resources. The target of this work is the analysis of the dynamism of the Land Cover/Land Use in the years between 1980-2000. Starting from a cartography to hoc, elaborate on the dimensional standards and nomenclatures CLC, on the basis of the obtained images from satellite in the 1980s, a series of quantitative and structural examinations have been made. For the quantitative evaluation of the class transitions of the Land Cover/Land Use and the related proximate causes a series of methodologies already tested on European level (Land Ecosystem Account and Land Cover Flows) was employed while an innovative morphological procedure for the maps related to the land use was utilised in order to evaluate the structural classes; This analysis has been preparatory for the study of the fragmentation processes of the so called core areas, important because it is considered of chief significance for the conservation of the biodiversity both vegetal and animal.
